Mr. Kieran Power is a distinguished Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon, based in London, who is renowned for his expertise in breast reconstruction, microsurgical reconstruction, gynae-oncology reconstruction and the treatment of skin cancer, particularly melanoma.
\nWith over 15 years of experience, Mr. Power holds consultant positions at some of London\u2019s leading hospitals, including The Royal Marsden Hospital, where he is currently head of the department, as well as King Edward VII\u2019s Hospital, The Lister Hospital and The Cromwell Hospital.<\/p>\n
He undertook specialist training in Plastic Surgery in Ireland, before moving to the UK to pursue advanced surgical fellowships.
\nIn 2012, Mr. Power completed a fellowship in microvascular cancer reconstruction at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, followed by a prestigious scholarship from the Royal College of Surgeons.
\nThis scholarship took him to Australia, where he completed a Fellowship in Melanoma and Surgical Oncology at the world-renowned Melanoma Institute in Sydney. He was awarded a Masters of Aesthetic Surgery with distinction from Queen Mary University of London. <\/p>\n
Mr. Power is dedicated to advancing the field of reconstructive surgery through research and clinical trials. His research interests include, robotic microsurgery, where he is exploring the potential applications and patient benefits of a new robotic system for microsurgical reconstruction.
