Plastic Surgeon since 2003, he serves as a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto (IPO Porto). His clinical practice is primarily focused on breast reconstruction, breast plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, body contouring, and the surgical management of skin malignancies, successfully balancing his institutional appointment with private clinical practice. He completed his residency training at Hospital de São João, which was further enhanced by clinical fellowships at prestigious national and international centers of excellence in France, Brazil, and the United States of America. Furthermore, he served as an Invited Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (2003–2007), contributing extensively to residency training and postgraduate medical education. He has also authored and co-authored numerous scientific papers in prominent national and international peer-reviewed journals.
