Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and specialized in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, completed at Hospital de São João, Porto, Portugal. A native of Porto, with an outstanding academic and professional career, distinguished with the Eng. António de Almeida Award for the highest final grade in the Medicine course in 2003. With extensive experience in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, he has undergone national and international training with some of the world’s most prestigious specialists.

He is the author of two publications in the field of body contouring surgery. In Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he introduced PRIME-GRAFT (Percutaneous Retrograde Intramuscular Echo-Guided Fat Grafting), a novel ultrasound-guided technique for intramuscular fat grafting that redefined the safety and precision standards of muscular definition surgery. In Aesthetic Surgery Journal, he published the first structural and transcriptomic evidence of muscle tissue remodeling following intramuscular fat grafting, demonstrating that autologous fat transfer produces not only aesthetic improvement but measurable biological changes consistent with enhanced muscle integrity and regenerative potential.

He is currently the European Ambassador for Total Definer, Secretary General of the European Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ESAPS), and Director of the Plastic Surgery Academy in Porto. He is a guest speaker at multiple international Plastic Surgery congresses and is responsible for a Plastic Surgery fellowship program at the Plastic Surgery Academy, Porto, where he trains plastic surgeons from various nationalities.
