Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (2003), specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery; he specialized at the Vila Nova de Gaia/Espinho Hospital Center and at the Prelada Hospital (2012). He was Director of the Plastic Surgery Service at the Braga University Hospital (between 2016 and 2021), Coordinator of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Hospital Luz Guimarães (since 2016) and Coordinator of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Hospital Luz Arrábida (since 2017). Throughout his training, he developed skills in the area of ​​Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery.

Currently more dedicated to Aesthetic Surgery with a particular interest in facial rejuvenation.

He is a member of the European Board of Aesthetic Plastic, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery (EBOPRAS), the College of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Portuguese Medical Council, the Portuguese Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, the European Association of Societies of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EASAPS) and ASAPS
