Marta Salgueiro is Director of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and Burns at Hospital da Prelada in Porto, Portugal, a position she has held since 2023. She has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the same institution since 2018.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto and completed her specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Norte in Lisbon.
She is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and holds a certification in Healthcare Services Management from the Portuguese Medical Association. She also completed the Advanced Management Programme for Healthcare Institutions (PADIS) at AESE Business School.
Her professional activity combines clinical practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery and burn care with leadership and healthcare management.
