Born in Porto, medical degree from ICBAS in Porto.
Completed residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Hospital Santa Maria in Lisbon, where I worked until 2018 and was responsible for the Hand Unit.
From 2006 to 2015, worked in the Hand Unit within the Orthopedics Department at CUF Descobertas.
Since 2003 works with various workers’ compensation insurance providers, specializing in wrist and hand.
Held roles within the Portuguese Society for Surgery of the Hand since 2003, serving as President from 2009 to 2012.
Hand Surgery representative for the Portuguese Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Holds two postgraduate qualifications: Body Injury Assessment and Health Management.
Holds three certifications from the Portuguese Medical Association: Body Injury Assessment, Health Management, and Aesthetic Medicine.
